Roy Horton Completes Weekend Racing Prior To Grand Rapids with a Second

Roy Horton continued his AX warm up racing Saturday and Sunday after his Friday night debut.

 

“It was a 3 race deal with any overall points system with payouts to the top 10 overall. Saturday night I performed well.  I didn't get a great start, but I just kept riding and with a little help from the leader Lichtle… going down half way through the race, I ended up finishing 2^nd on Saturday.

 

The 3^rd day of racing, was ok.  I won my heat, but just didn't feel relaxed all day and I was pumping up.  I think I was just beginning to wear down over the weekend.

 

In the main I got a good start.  I was 2nd and just had nothing for Travis Sewell in the main event.  I rode around to a 2nd.

 

In the dash for cash I pulled the holeshot and lead the first 8 laps then lost the front wheel in a turn. It was a good weekend and I had fun!  I didn't run into anyone : ) and got 2nd for the weekend so I made a good chunk of change for 3 days work, which was very much needed.
